Growing up in Los Angeles, my family always exposed me to great food and culture, whether it was trying the newest restaurant in the city, going to jazz concerts, or seeing an exhibit at a niche art museum. This heightened my senses and appreciation for culinary quality and cultural awareness at a young age. Attending college at Tulane University enhanced my appreciation for food, drink, and culture in an unprecedented manner. As one of the best food cities in the world, New Orleans offers an unparalleled experience with phenomenal restaurants all within close proximity to one another. Music booms from every corner. The city is an epicenter of culture. Throughout my four years living there, I further developed my palate and became infatuated with the lifestyle. That is why I decided to give back and write about my experiences.
